You came before the words

You came before the words
when the sun was still stuck
between two candles:

yours and mine

you came, oozing
with ink of translucent colors
like the color of your liquid motion
where my soul passes through
that I am dazed for years and years

for we are cut
from the same star, same moon
same earth, where the sun rises
out of your mouth to heaven

because this is not a love between you and me
but a love shared among all things

a rose with its thorns
flirting with the wind

yet always blooming

with tears
that carry the hidden laughter of the universe

while screeching and fading
into the silver lining of the sky.
